      Home Forward is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for our Humboldt Gardens property. This position supports Home Forward’s strategic and operational objectives in the following ways:

      Coordinate and perform property management duties designed to ensure maximum occupancy, successful residency, program compliance, and resident self-sufficiency.

      Duties are performed under the direction of property manager, during regularly scheduled hours, and include property, administrative, and office duties such as interim and annual reviews, income calculations and verifications, tenant notifications, leasing and pre-screening, move-in and move-out processing, front desk and ongoing tenant communications, meetings, data entry, file creation, and ongoing database updates.

      In this context, the incumbent in this position will collaborate with others at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders in the consideration of significant goals, concepts, initiatives, and other activities that profoundly affect Home Forward, its employees, and the people that it serves.

      Humboldt Gardens is a community in the Humboldt neighborhood featuring a combination of 130 flats, townhomes, and elevator-access apartments.       This position is represented by AFSCME Local 3135 and this position closes on Tuesday , November 12, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

      This is a regular, full time position, with a work schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Compensation starts at $32.51 per hour; Home Forward provides wonderful and competitive benefits, including (please see the benefits tab for full details):

      Three (3) years of increasingly responsible affordable housing, property management, or social service experience.

      Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in real estate, business, property management, or a related field preferred.
