- A key project focus on improving the use and collection of data (including service user outcomes and satisfaction) and producing innovative and simple methods to clearly show key stakeholders, in layman's terms, how our interventions improve the mental health outcomes for children and young people with a mental health condition and a learning disability. This will also include working with local and regional colleagues on how we demonstrate the impact of the service.
- They will hold a caseload of children and young people who will require evidence-based family support interventions. These interventions will be carried out in the family home and the community (as appropriate).

- An upper second-class honours degree or higher in psychology.
- Entitlement to graduate membership of the British Psychological Society
- Further post graduate training in relevant areas of professional psychology, mental health practice and/or research design and analysis.
- Evidence of an interest in pursuing a career in clinical psychology
- Evidence of an interest in child and adolescent mental health
- Post graduate training in Positive Behaviour Support or Applied Behaviour Analysis
- An interest in working with people with mental health conditions and/ or learning disabilities.
- High level communication skills (written and verbal) including an ability to communicate and work in settings in which the atmosphere may be highly emotive.
- Ability to accept and use supervision appropriately and effectively.
- Ability to communicate sensitive information to children, families, carers and colleagues.
- An ability to interact effectively with staff from all disciplines.

- Experience using computers for databases or data-analysis, using Microsoft Office, MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- High standard of report writing
- An understanding of the needs and difficulties of people with mental health conditions and/or learning disabilities.
- An ability to apply existing psychological knowledge to a mental health and learning disability context.
- An understanding of psychology applied to health care.
- Car user with ability and willingness to travel to locations throughout the organisation - access to use of car

Assistant Psychologist (1wte)
This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and dynamic Assistant Psychologist who enjoys working collaboratively and interacting with other multi agency partners, children, young people and their families.
The CAMHS Learning Disability Team is an exciting new team that will transform the support mechanisms for children and young people with a learning disability. The new team will be based at Erlegh House which is situated on the Reading University Campus with some travel across Berkshire.
