- Performs daily activities for service, repairs, preventative maintenance and inventory associated with support of research capital assets and equipment.
- Support and enhance business processes that will satisfy ongoing requirements of all involved work groups.
- Work with the Facilities department, building/management personnel and outside vendors to acquire appropriate quotes for work and process purchase requisitions as needed.
- Maintains an issue log and produces appropriate work requests and purchase orders as vital.
- Verification that supervised equipment meets the Original Equipment (OE) standards. Assist in providing metrics, performance targets and reporting to ensure effective return on assets. This will require knowledge of and ongoing education for proficiency in database and spreadsheet
- Assists with special projects and assignments and completes within the given time frame, as advised by supervisor.
- Assist managers in selecting, procuring, delivery, installation and inventory of capital equipment for SKI.
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as the need arises.
- Operations experience, preferably in an academic, research or health care environment.
- knowledge of asset management and inventory principles including an in depth knowledge of lifecycle management of assets, research operations experience highly preferred.

Requests for exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved exemption is required to start work.
