      Schedule:

      • Normal schedule will be Monday-Friday daytime hours. However, some nights and weekends may be needed from time to time.

      What You'll Do:

As an Assistant Service Manager, you’ll work side-by-side with the Service Manager to guide daily operations, develop our team, and deliver the outstanding service our customers count on. You’ll be a key player in driving productivity, communication, and teamwork throughout the shop and office.

      • Helping lead daily operations, support departmental goals, and keep service operations running smoothly
      • Assisting in setting department objectives, preparing performance metric reports, and leading the team to meet targets
      • Fostering a growth-oriented mindset by investing in the development of team members and mentoring them to reach personal and professional goals
      • Coaching and guiding office staff on process improvements and collaboratively resolving repair-related delays
      • Monitoring team attendance, development, safety, disciplinary actions, and training to stay ahead of potential issues
      • Reconciling timesheets and payroll for department personnel with accuracy and timeliness
      • Performing root cause analysis and corrective action on internal or external conflicts to prevent escalation and support a healthy work environment
      • Facilitating weekly huddles with technicians and support staff to align priorities and encourage communication
      • Collaborating with Parts and Sales teams to create seamless customer experiences
      • Staying current with OEM bulletins and ensuring proper warranty and safety compliance
      • Ensuring all service areas (inside and out) are clean, organized, and safe per TCI and Elite Support standards

      Qualifications

      What We're Looking For:

      • High School Diploma or GED
      • 5+ years of leadership experience, preferably in transportation or dealership settings; Freightliner experience and CIC Level I or II training strongly preferred
      • Valid Driver’s License and ability to meet insurance requirements
      • Working knowledge of truck systems and parts; dealership operations experience is a plus
      • Proven ability to lead and develop diverse teams in a collaborative environment
      • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills—especially under pressure
      • Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stay detail-oriented
      • Comfortable with data analysis, forecasting, and Microsoft Office; Procede software experience is a plus
      • Ability to type 30+ WPM and navigate tablets/computer systems confidently
      • A team-first mindset, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality and company values
      • Consistent follow-through and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
      • Must participate in a pre-employment background check and drug screen
