      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct audits of various governmental entities to ensure compliance and accountability
      - Collaborate with team members in planning and executing audit assignments
      - Participate in client discussions and presentations under supervision
      - Provide mentoring and training to in-training level staff
      - Perform special investigations related to citizen concerns and potential fraud

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three college-level accounting courses, or equivalent experience
      - For Assistant State Auditor 1: Minimum of 1 year in accounting/auditing or 4 years of relevant business experience
      - For Assistant State Auditor 2: Minimum of 2 years in accounting/auditing or 5 years of relevant business experience
      - For Assistant State Auditor 3: Minimum of 3 years in accounting/auditing or 6 years of relevant experience
      - Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Government audit experience preferred
      - Experience in financial investigations or related fields
      - Familiarity with auditing software and tools
      - Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships
      - Additional certifications in accounting or auditing
