      YOUR ROLE

      As the Assistant Store Manager, you play an integral role in creating the Vera Bradley experience, striving to exceed sales goals and assisting the General Store Manager in managing overall store operations. You support team development, training and visual merchandising. You are a brand ambassador, consistently modeling and upholding Vera Bradley’s core values. You are committed to making the world a brighter place through every touchpoint!

      • You have a passion for driving sales: You work with your team to exceed sales goals, drive store traffic, convert customers and promote campaigns to drive brand awareness and build lasting customer relationships.
      • You're a merchandising and operational innovator: You coach your team to deliver an outstanding customer experience by ensuring your store is always representative of Vera Bradley’s brand standards. You execute and innovate daily operational procedures.
      • You're a people leader: You channel Vera Bradley's core values to motivate and inspire your team. You hold your team accountable to Vera Bradley's best-in-class customer service standards.
      • You have an eye for talent: You assist the General Store Manager in recruiting and hiring strong talent to ensure the store is always staffed to meet business needs. You take pride in training and developing your team to become the best Vera Bradley brand ambassadors.

      YOU’D BE GREAT FOR THIS ROLE IF…

      • You’re a people person!
      • You have 1+ years of prior retail management experience or proven Vera Bradley management ability.
      • You’re available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support store opening, closing and peak business needs.
      • You’re at least 18 years of age.
      • You’re a high school graduate (or equivalent).

      • Constant walking and standing; frequent bending, stooping and reaching
