      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Collaborate with school districts, education service districts, long term care and treatment centers, youth corrections, and juvenile detention centers to ensure inclusive and high-quality education for students with diverse needs
      - Navigate legislative processes related to Special Education
      - Build a culture of care and connection within the education system
      - Work towards significant improvements in special education in Oregon
      - Support and provide resources to educators and staff in implementing inclusive practices

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Strong knowledge and understanding of special education policies, practices, and legislation
      - Excellent communication and collaboration skills
      - Experience working with diverse student populations and addressing their unique educational needs
      - Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
      - Familiarity with the Oregon education system and its legislative processes

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
      - Previous experience in advocating for students with diverse needs
      - Knowledge of inclusive education practices and strategies
      - Experience working with school districts and education service districts
