- Oversee and guide the candidate experience during the background and onboarding process, ensuring consistent communication and a high level of service.
- Process and review background checks, onboarding forms, and ensure completion of all pre-employment requirements.
- Ensure all new hires are scheduled for and informed of New Hire Orientation (NHO), TIPS training (if applicable), and start dates.
- Keep hiring managers informed of candidate progress, onboarding status, and confirmed start dates.
- Prepare onboarding materials including name tags, badges, orientation folders, and access credentials.
- Act as back-up facilitator for New Hire Orientation and conduct NHO property tours as needed.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing hiring events and recruitment initiatives throughout the year.
- Monitor and update the I-9 tracker to ensure timely verifications and re-verifications for new hires and current team members.
- Maintain accuracy in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and ensure personnel documents are filed and stored appropriately.
- Enroll eligible new hires and current employees into applicable benefits and incentives, such as Bus Passes and TDR Kiosk access.
- Support the Senior Talent Manager in monitoring hiring metrics, prioritizing requisitions, and ensuring recruiting goals are met.
- Support the Senior Talent Manager in prioritizing requisitions, tracking hiring metrics, and meeting recruiting targets.
- Serve as the point of contact for hiring managers in the absence of the Senior Talent Manager, providing guidance on hiring workflows and timelines.
- Provide cross-coverage for front desk HR functions and general department operations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of HR-led events and team member engagement initiatives.
- Uphold confidentiality and integrity in all HR-related matters.
- Adhere to department and company policies, modeling professionalism and accountability.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and service-minded environment during all candidate and new hire interactions.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or related roles.
- Strong working knowledge of onboarding processes, I-9 compliance, and HR documentation standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ATS/HRIS platforms (preferred).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Professionalism, discretion, and strong sense of accountability.
- Ability to lead and support team members with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
