      Department Overview:

      The John Powless Tennis Center is a family owned business since 1979. Located on Madison's west side, near Woodman's grocery store and West Towne Mall, JPTC has eight indoor courts, six outdoor hard courts, and two outside clay tennis courts.

      Position Summary/Job Duties:

      The John Powless Tennis Center currently has an open position of assistant tennis instructor. Duties consist of assisting lead instructor for junior group tennis lessons from beginners to high school level players. Lessons run during the business week, 4-8PM. Schedule varies by day. Starting pay $20/hr. Position includes room for advancement. We are located on the west side of Madison near the west Madison Post Office and Woodman's grocery store.

      Qualifications:

      Tennis experience at the high school level. Tennis instruction experience preferred. Ability and enthusiasm to make learning the game of tennis safe and fun.
