What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead underwriting strategy execution and performance for the Northeast Region to drive profitability and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and enhance pricing accuracy through data-driven insights
- Foster collaboration with internal stakeholders and agency partners to optimize risk assessment
- Drive team development through training, coaching, and succession planning
- Represent underwriting in strategic planning and enhance agency engagement for sustainable growth
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in insurance, business administration, or equivalent relevant experience
- Ten years of commercial lines underwriting experience, including at least four years of team leadership experience
- CPCU designation or other underwriting-related designations preferred
- Extensive expertise in underwriting principles and risk management strategies
- Exceptional leadership capabilities with a proven track record of mentoring high-performing teams
