      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Lead the strategic direction and execution of the underwriting operational strategy for the property portfolio at the enterprise level
      - Oversee the development of the company’s property underwriting philosophy, policies, and programs
      - Analyze the performance of the existing book of business and provide strategic recommendations to executive management
      - Direct the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives to achieve growth and profitability goals
      - Foster collaboration within the department and with other profit centers, acting as a strategic partner to branch offices

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in an insurance or business-related field, or equivalent relevant experience
      - Minimum of ten years of commercial property underwriting experience in progressively responsible roles
      - Prior leadership experience in an underwriting or insurance environment
      - Insurance certifications such as CPCU, ARM, AU, or CIC
      - Superior knowledge of underwriting techniques, terminology, policies, and products

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Advanced degree, such as an MBA
      - Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
      - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
      - Exceptional written and oral communication skills
      - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
