      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Direct the online MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, including program visioning and planning
      - Engage with prospective students and serve as the primary advisor for enrolled students
      - Develop and propose new courses and programs, including a capstone-based MSME option
      - Interface with various university departments to ensure effective course offerings and materials
      - Teach graduate colloquium and capstone courses while fostering a supportive learning community

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - A PhD in Engineering Education, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field by the start date
      - Proven experience in teaching and advising students in higher education
      - Strong organizational and communication skills to engage with students and faculty
      - Ability to analyze data and provide reports to support program development
      - Familiarity with online teaching methodologies and best practices

      - Experience in developing online educational programs or courses
      - Background in mechanical engineering with a focus on graduate-level education
      - Familiarity with university policies and procedures related to student admissions and advising
