What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide supportive care to residents, assisting with all aspects of activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene
- Take vital signs and observe any changes in resident condition, reporting findings to the Charge Nurse
- Implement infection control practices and adhere to safety procedures according to employer policies
- Document care and resident condition accurately as per employer policy
- Follow and carry out requests and care plans as assigned by the Charge Nurse
What is Required (Qualifications):
- State of Kansas Nurse's Aide Certification
- Knowledge of individual care plans and the ability to perform related tasks
- Understanding of confidentiality and resident's rights
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively
- Commitment to completing in-service training as assigned
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with computer charting systems and documentation practices
- Previous experience in assisted living or healthcare settings
