- Lead account management by understanding subscriber trends, viewership analysis, AMC Networks’ products and offerings, and corporate structure
- Become an expert on the ins and outs of team accounts (e.g., pricing and packaging, products, strategy, etc.) to bring insight to contract negotiations and other high-level projects
- Prepare and manage account overviews and knowledge databases, including current news and trends relevant to our business
- Develop a thorough understanding of client priorities to identify distribution, product, and partnership opportunities
- Liaise with Partner Management, Marketing, Legal, Operations and Finance colleagues to fulfill partner needs and drive business results
- Identify new business opportunities to expand AMC Networks’ reach through research and competitive analysis
- Develop an understanding of content distribution agreements to provide ad hod contractual review and analysis, create deal summaries, and communicate key deal points to internal stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably within a cross-functional business environment
- Project management: Organized, detail-oriented, ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced
- environment
- Strategic Analysis: Strong research and analytical skills and ability to synthesize data
- Personal: Proactive self-starter and team player, ability to learn quickly, be flexible and adapt to changing industry and organizational landscape
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills, outstanding written and oral communications skills as required to interface across several levels and groups
- Client management: Experience in developing and maintaining excellent client relationship

We are currently seeking an Assoc - Distribution & Business Development to join our Distribution team based in our New York, New York, Headquarters.
JOB SUMMARY
AMC Networks’ Distribution & Business Development department negotiates and manages AMC Networks’ distribution across MVPDs, virtual MVPDs and streaming partners as well as to new and emerging platforms. We are seeking someone who is passionate about the business of media, self-motivated, and can adapt to a constantly shifting landscape.
The coordinator will work directly with the Director, Distribution and VP, Distribution to support the team in its negotiation and management of its various distribution deals and new sales efforts.

The base compensation range for this position is $65,000 to $70,000 commensurate with experience.
