What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide legal support and representation for Advocate Health entities on labor and employment matters
- Manage and delegate projects to outside counsel regarding litigation, investigations, and general employment issues
- Conduct legal research, oversee investigations, and prepare witnesses for mediations and interviews
- Negotiate, draft, and review various legal documents, including contracts and employment agreements
- Participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring within the Legal Department

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Juris Doctor (Doctorate Degree in Law) from an accredited institution
- Must be an attorney licensed to practice law in the relevant state
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and employment legal services, either in a major law firm or as in-house counsel
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations applicable to multi-state employers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience advising on employment litigation and managing EEOC charges
- Familiarity with corporate contracts and risk management strategies
- Proven ability to work effectively with governmental and regulatory agencies
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a remote, high-volume work environment
- Background in training and mentoring legal interns or paralegals
