What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Evaluate credentialing applications for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with healthcare providers to obtain missing information
- Update credentialing software systems with required information
- Collaborate with internal and external contacts for timely processing of recredentialing applicants
- Review and process alerts for federal/state and license sanctions and exclusions reports
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience managing all aspects of the provider enrollment and credentialing process
- Performs primary source verification of provider credentials
- Provider enrollment experience with electronic submissions of Medicare/Medicaid applications
- Extensive experience using a computer and software systems
