What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the biospecimen lifecycle from sample receipt to analysis and final disposition
- Ensure accurate specimen metadata and communicate updates to client groups and stakeholders
- Increase efficiency in specimen management by sharing knowledge and best practices
- Review clinical study protocols and service providers' scope of work documents for sample handling
- Create and manage project plans and oversee data transfer plans with analytical laboratories
What is Required (Qualifications):
- B.A./B.S. in life sciences, medical technology, or a related field
- 1-3 years of directly related experience in life sciences, including biospecimen lifecycle management
- 1-3 years of project management experience preferred
- Understanding of ICH, GCP, GLP, and local regulations
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills with high attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with StarLIMS or other LIMS systems
- Knowledge of transaction-based inventory and data management systems
- Excel experience, particularly in macro and template building
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
