What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide concurrent and retrospective reviews to improve chart documentation
- Analyze charts for missing or incomplete documentation impacting clinical treatment decisions
- Collaborate with clinical and ancillary departments to enhance quality and productivity
- Develop and implement clinical documentation improvement education plans for healthcare providers
- Assist in reporting on performance measures and provide necessary training

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Graduate with Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with CDI
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work Monday - Friday from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM PST

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CCDS, CDIP, or CCS certification
- 2+ years of clinical acute care hospital experience
- 2+ years of CDI experience
- Familiarity with Computer-Assisted Coding (CAC)
