- Actively support lean deployment strategy at the site through training, coaching and assessing the areas in the different standards
- Lead breakthrough (event-based) Improvement Projects
- Support the development and delivery of the integrated productivity portfolio during business plan period
- Promote operational excellence principles with a focus on competitiveness, continuous improvement, and an organization of continuous learning through coaching, training and assessing the areas
- Support other initiatives and projects as defined by Lean Champion and/or Supervisor
- Maintain CCI Lean Coach certification
- BS in Engineering or Science
- At least three (3) years of experience managing projects or other initiatives with proven track record of results derived from application of structured continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing (DMAIC/DMEDI, OCM/OA, Kaizen, Lean, A3).
- Six Sigma (GB or BB) or Lean Manufacturing Certification, preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Establish positive interpersonal relationships and interact effectively with people at all levels.
- Work on multiple assignments at a time and within an environment with distractions.
- Strong analytical skills. Use a logical, systematic approach to problem solving.
- Identify information needed to clarify a situation, seek that information from appropriate sources and use skillful questioning to draw out the information
- Work variable periods of time (short and long).

Job Responsibilities:
The focus of the CCI Lean Coach role is to partner with all organizational levels across the Site to deploy improvements according to a structured portfolio management approach and support both event and non event-based continuous improvement. Results include, but are not limited to, cycle time reduction, increased asset effectiveness, expense reduction, improved quality and safety, as well as increased employee morale at all levels due to more time being spent on value-added activities. The role will apply knowledge of business operations, functional components, and cross-functional processes to develop and execute transformation projects, integrating organizational change management in support of the site business plan and strategic objectives. Plan and deliver on assigned business initiatives that have the potential to be in a wide-variety of areas and across Lilly del Caribe.
