What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer and respond to inquiries regarding Long Term Care benefit administration, policy owner eligibility, and claims processing
- Document all calls and related correspondence using the LTC insurance system and other proprietary tools
- Provide excellent service to internal and external customers and collaborate with other departments
- Identify service opportunities and suggest innovative ideas for improvement
- Handle multiple products and services while meeting established service requirements and standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of one year customer service experience in a fast-paced call center environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, familiar with business and phone protocols
- Excellent organization and detail orientation skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient with MS Windows environment, including MS Word
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate degree in Business Administration or BA/BS preferred
- Previous experience in an insurance or financial services environment is a plus
