What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with leadership to develop high-impact foundation partnerships that support organizational priorities
- Design and execute outreach, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for U.S.-based foundations
- Identify and cultivate new foundation prospects, managing a strong pipeline aligned with funding needs
- Implement stewardship plans for foundation partners, ensuring performance indicators and engagement strategies are met
- Engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders for relationship management and high-level solicitations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of progressive frontline fundraising experience with expertise in private sector resource development
- Proven track record of closing 6-7-figure grants from private institutional donors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for crafting proposals and representing the organization
- Experience managing a foundation prospect pipeline while balancing new business development and stewardship
- Demonstrated commitment to international development, human rights, and social justice
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proven experience with CRM platforms, especially Salesforce
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data
- Experience mentoring or managing staff with a focus on performance development
- Ability to translate organizational strategy into actionable fundraising plans
- Track record of achieving ambitious revenue targets and performance indicators
