Job Description

- Accountable for all Ops procurement activities to achieve key performance attributes including on-time delivery, inventory management, new product development procurements, new business capture and program execution
- Lead full life cycle procurement and planning management activities for the Operation
- Develop planning strategies and supplier relationship plans that are inventive and cost-effective for the Operation
- Develop program specific planning and procurement strategy for proposals, programs and, competitions negotiations, and managing supplier performance
- Monitor and manage reviews of supplier agreements
- Coordinate with the Contracts, Service, and manufacturing organizations to ensure proper product and program requirements are flow-down
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to deal effectively with other functions and suppliers to solve supplier issues of varying degrees of complexity and work issues to resolution
- Engage in captures to support proposal strategies and recommend pricing approaches in order to address Leidos’ and the customer’s expectations and objectives
- Ensure Customer solicitations are reviewed for potential risks, including compliance with requirements and that an appropriate slate of suppliers will be solicited for proposals
- Lead the oversight and submittal of procurement and planning content in proposals
- Monitor supplier compliance, including timely delivery of deliverables, in coordination with the Segement
- Identify risks and offer mitigation solutions related to supplier solutions
- Resolve supplier performance issues in collaboration with the Operation
- Advise Operation Leadership on procurement and planning issues
- Maintain an active understanding of the Operation budget and promote a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
- Manage professionals in executing day-to-day activities. Provide training, mentorship to team with varied levels of proficiencies. Conduct performance reviews, define development actions, identify and engage with top talent in his/her team.
- Requires a Bachelor degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 10+ years or prior relevant experience.
- 7+ years of experience supervising/leading Team and projects
- MRP experience
- International Procurement experience
- Strong organization skills and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Experience interpreting technical documents, drawings and/or schematics for quotation purposes
- Ability to lead, train, and mentor employees individually and as a Team.
- Management of overseeing Supplier relations and managing large, complex suppliers
The Civil Group is seeking an Associate Director Global Supply Chain (GSC) to support the Security Enterprise Solutions (SES) Operation and Civil UK Procurement Team. This role will manage and lead a dynamic and global procurement and planning team of approximately 15 professionals. Team members support full cycle (“cradle to grave”) global actions for operational functions; Manufacturing, Engineering, Service and various programs requirements. The position will report directly to the Director pf GSC and will be an integrated member of the SES Operations leadership team.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
