      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Oversee payroll and accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
      - Strengthen financial controls and processes to improve efficiency and data integrity
      - Lead cross-functional operational accounting projects and manage stakeholder relationships
      - Manage retirement plan audits and ensure compliance with ERISA and related regulations
      - Set the vision for operational accounting and support team development through coaching and feedback

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in a related field
      - Minimum of seven years of accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit setting, including at least five years of management experience
      - Required experience in retirement plan administration and payroll for a multi-state organization
      - Knowledge of GAAP and proficiency with accounting software and Office365
      - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information
