      JOB SUMMARY

      We’re seeking a driven, collaborative, and detail-oriented Associate eCommerce Marketing Manager to join our growing eCommerce team at The Wine Group. The Associate eCommerce Marketing Manager reports to the Director of eCommerce.

      We’re looking for a savvy digital marketer and salesperson to manage top eRetail accounts and marketplaces for The Wine Group. This role will focus on digital shelf content quality, omnichannel programming, and supporting the sales organization with eCommerce sales and marketing plans and execution. The ideal candidate brings a mix of technical aptitude, sales, and marketing experience with excellent communication and relationship building skills. Interest and experience in the beverage or CPG space is a plus. This role is eligible for remote work and travel as needed.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

      • Oversee product content syndication for key eRetail and Marketplace accounts with support from Digital Shelf Specialist and distributor partner.
      • Partner with brand, creative, and Trade and Shopper marketing teams to bring omnichannel brand retail programming to life on partner’s eCommerce sites.
      • Build relationships with retail eComm merchants to pitch and deliver on-site programming that reflect portfolio sales priorities and in-store programs.
      • Conduct routine audits of retailer scorecards to identify content gaps. Partner with Digital Shelf Specialist and brand teams to optimize content.
      • Track and report on retailer performance (sales, share, and content quality) flagging issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize.
      • Collaborate with sales and distributor partners to drive eCommerce execution within the 3-tier system, including e-Retail, marketplace and B2B eComm.
      • Deliver innovative full-funnel eCommerce sales and marketing campaigns that drive sales, share, and basket size.
      • Drive internal marketing team eCommerce education and thought leadership on category, channel, and platform best practices.
      • Support the Director of eCommerce with any and all deliverables regarding digital shelf content, eRetail, and marketplace priorities and strategy including building presentations, reports, and share outs.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • Bachelor’s degree required.
      • 4-6 years of experience in sales, eCommerce, and/or digital marketing, preferably in the CPG or beverage alcohol space.
      • Excellent communication skills and experience leading strategic discussions and presentations with sales and retailer teams.
      • Experience managing item data and content within retailer content portals (e.g., Walmart, Item 360, etc.).
      • Experience with Salsify and similar PIM/DAM tools.
      • Demonstrated project management skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to work cross-functionally.
      • Prior experience in shared service roles, such as internal or external agencies preferred.
      • Experience in evaluating data and making insight-based recommendations.
      • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint (can create powerful marketing presentations for internal and external customers and technical proficiency in managing data sets for data validation and uploads).
      • Experience with SEO and keyword optimization.
      • Experience managing budgets, especially campaign budgets.
      • History driving over-performing digital marketing and eComm sales campaigns like paid search on marketplaces.
      • Basic skills in tools like Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator or Canva a bonus.

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS

      • Position operates in a virtual office environment.
      • The position includes travel to various industry and/or company events, up to 20% of the time.
      • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting.
      • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. (a case of wine).

      COMPENSATION

      • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $86,900 - $130,300.
      • Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities; education; and other position-related factors.
