Job Description

- Make high volume outbound calls to generate qualified opportunities
- Presenting offering(s) to an audience to detail products available.
- Working collaboratively with core account teams to drive leads and opportunities.
- The role entails directly communicating with client and client customers, presenting products and solutions.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude will be necessary to adapt and conform within the progressively evolving telecommunications/data communications industry to provide high value support, while promoting and selling newer offer/technology.
- Consistently attain or exceed monthly metrics (revenue quota and activities)
- Maintain a database of opportunities for funnel and forecast reporting
- Outbound calling to generate new leads and close opportunities
- Qualify prospects based on established criteria of Fit, Budget, Authority, Need and Time, and gather critical sales intelligence
- Extrapolate pertinent information from all data gathering sessions to formulate and engineer the best available solution for the customer's needs
- Effectively utilize engineering resources and processes to design and present solutions to customers
- Work with the client’s procedures to configure, quote, and propose solutions
- Present solutions and designs via web-conference to customers as needed
- Handling inbound customer and client team calls and engaging resources to solve problems
- Ensure all activity is entered into CRM
- BS/BA Degree is preferred
- Strong sales ability, problem solving skills, and responsiveness
- Experience in selling Software as a Service(SaaS), preferably in Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) or Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS)
- Energetic and positive attitude
- Strong organizational skills
- Successful consultative sales experience with a demonstrated record of success preferred
- Previous technology based inside sales experience preferred
- Desire to grow into a technology based sales career
- Working knowledge of data communications and/or network services marketplace
- Desire to thrive in a high energy, quota driven, and evolving sales environment
- Willingness to adhere to activity reporting requirements
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Working knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
