What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair complex industrial retread equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
- Manage plant installation and modification projects, ensuring compliance with timelines and specifications
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and franchise agreements
- Analyze production data to identify constraints and develop action plans for operational improvements
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Bandag dealers and provide ongoing support
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in a technical field or equivalent relevant experience
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (over 75%) for the entire duration of the training program
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Military experience/training in electronics or electrical systems is considered equivalent to an Associate's degree
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
- Experience in training others on equipment operation and maintenance
- Familiarity with production data analysis and quality improvement processes
