What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform complex analytical functions supporting the Agenda and Communications Teams within the Office of Public School Construction
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and agenda management
- Participate in governmental decision-making processes that may impact financial interests
- Complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and annually thereafter
- Adhere to the Department of General Services' Core Values and Employee Expectations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must reside in California upon appointment
- Experience in governmental program analysis or a related field
- Ability to handle stress and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload effectively
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to work
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of public policy and government operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with state employment application processes
- Previous experience in a public service role
