What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop code in Gosu and utilize Studio for Guidewire development during 2-week Agile sprints
- Implement user interface changes, message queue integrations, and write unit tests using Guidewire’s testing framework
- Support testing stories by designing and executing testing plans
- Present development stories and participate in code reviews with team members and stakeholders
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including triaging tickets and reviewing logs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience in a production environment with on-call responsibilities
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in daily standup meetings
- Prior experience with Guidewire, particularly PolicyCenter and BillingCenter
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, SQL, Gosu, IntelliJ, and Studio for feature coding
- Understanding of web service integration using Postman, SOAP, and REST
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience working with Mulesoft to build APIs and using React or Node.js for digital applications
- Comfortable presenting complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
