What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the development of high-quality, medically accurate content for various medical communication resources
- Deliver projects in accordance with established timelines
- Conduct literature reviews to support promotional claims
- Organize and prepare references for medical, regulatory, and legal submissions
- Communicate professionally and proactively with internal stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS in life sciences or BA/BS in English with 1 year of experience in a relevant field
- 0 – 1 year of experience in the medical communication, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
- Knowledge of American Medical Association (AMA) style
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Expertise in gathering and summarizing healthcare business and scientific literature
- Working knowledge of managed markets and healthcare delivery systems
- Familiarity with health reform legislation and managed care experience (HMO, MCO, PBM, etc.)
