      What is the opportunity?

      The National Accounts Team, RBC Global Asset Management (GAM), is seeking an Associate to join their team. The National Accounts team cultivates relationships and opportunities with IIROC firms, independent dealers, asset managers and insurance companies. The National Accounts Associate plays an important role within the team by providing pre- and post-sales planning, support, and relationship management.

      In this role, you will work closely with the VP, National Accounts in supporting the team’s activities to manage and grow the businesses. You will help support and maintain strong relationships with dealers and key stakeholders as well as oversee the completion of Requests for Proposals (RFIs), due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) and the delivery of value-added services.

      What will you do?

      • Manage & coordinate the delivery of all client reporting and communications by working in concert with Product, marketing, and other internal stakeholders

      • Lead the completion and delivery of due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) and Requests for Information (RFIs)

      • Maintain & support relationships with key internal and external partners

      • Reconcile monthly expenses and provide exceptional service to the National Accounts team and Head Office contacts

      • Promote efficiencies by contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures

      • Prepare and coordinate presentations, conference calls, dealer conferences, marketing materials, and other reporting

      What do you need to succeed?

      Must Have

      • Previous experience in a sales or client facing role

      • A genuine interest in Capital Markets

      • Ability to build credibility and rapport with clients, peers, and partners via email, phone, and in-person

      • Ability to produce high-quality deliverables in a rapidly changing environment, with the skill to prioritize to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

      • Flexibility with respect to work tasks & managing priorities

      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM

      • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course

      Nice to Have

      • Mutual fund or ETF industry experience

      • Enrollment in CFA an asset

      • Experience in customer service

      • French verbal and written skills are considered an asset
