Individually we are people, but together we are Aviva. Individually these are just words, but together they are our Values – Care, Commitment, Community, and Confidence.

You’ve decided to forge a career in product management, come join a company with the products, resources and people to provide you with mentoring and apprenticeship, a clear progression path all the way to product leadership, and the opportunity to work on products used by hundreds of thousands of Canadians.

We make a positive difference every single day offering protection and peace of mind. Aviva Canada Inc. is one of Canada’s largest insurance groups and we have a lot to offer to dedicated people just entering the working world, in the early stages of their career, or looking to switch paths.

If you’re ready for a head start, we’d like to meet you.

      What you'll do:

      • Either work alongside a Senior Product Manager on a large product team, or run a smaller product team independently, with coaching from a Senior Product Manager.

      • Help develop the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product by working with senior collaborators to understand business needs, and conducting user research and testing to understand customer needs.

      • Work with a team of engineers, designers and testers to deliver improvements and new features that deliver value to our customers and our business.

      • Work with coaches and mentors throughout the digital team to develop your product skills and transition into a Product Manager role

      What you'll bring:

      • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

      • Excellent communication and presentation skills – can influence without authority

      • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects

      • Curiosity and an eagerness to learn and develop

      • Exceptional academic background and some work experience (internships, side projects, etc.) in tech or a history of high-performance in an emerging outside of product

      • Demonstrated knowledge of tech trends and digital landscape

      What you’ll get:

      • The salary band for this position ranges from $61,000 $113,200. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.

      • Compelling rewards package including base compensation, eligibility for annual bonus, retirement savings, share plan, health benefits, personal wellness, and volunteer opportunities.

      • Outstanding Career Development opportunities.

      • We’ll support your professional development education.

      • Competitive vacation package with the option to purchase 5 extra days off per year

      • Employee driven programs focused on gender, LGBTQ+, origins, diversity and inclusion

      • Corporate wellness programs to support our employees’ physical and mental health

      • Hybrid flexible work model

Please note that we may use AI tools to help us through the recruitment process. This is a new position which has been posted both internally & externally.
