What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical and intellectual leadership to a coherent research program
- Direct the day-to-day development, maintenance, and supervision of a productive research program
- Identify research questions, formulate hypotheses, plan experiments, and analyze data
- Prepare and submit applications for external funding from national agencies
- Maintain a record of independent scholarship through high-quality publications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctoral Degree required; Master’s Degree in Genomics also required
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
- Proficiency in research analysis, methodologies, and regulatory environments
- Ability to provide technical assistance to various departments and associates
- Strong record of independent scholarship and publication in relevant disciplines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with grant writing and securing funding for research projects
- Established reputation in the research community through presentations and peer reviews
- Familiarity with the latest research methodologies and regulatory guidelines
