What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support technical project delivery related to energy and decarbonization solutions development and reporting
- Conduct on-site technical analysis and desktop portfolio analysis to ensure building performance compliance
- Develop collaborative decarbonization targets and support project documentation and research
- Collaborate with leadership to evolve technical solutions for sustainability consulting services
- Provide additional support for sustainable building design, operations, and ESG advisory
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in real estate sustainability, energy/engineering analysis, and/or decarbonization/energy efficiency
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Understanding of building design, construction, and operations across multiple real estate asset types
- Previous experience with site visits and client engagement
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, along with excellent oral and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in engineering, sustainability management, or real estate
- Demonstrated experience in technical data analysis, client engagement, and presentation delivery
- CEM certification is an asset
