What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead end-to-end research projects from problem formulation to evaluation
- Develop prototypes and reference implementations to demonstrate novel ideas
- Collaborate with engineering teams to transition research prototypes into scalable systems
- Write and review design documents explaining overall architecture and high-level design
- Define guidelines and benchmarks for non-functional requirements during project implementation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Total experience of 4+ years in relevant fields
- PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field from a tier 1 institute
- Deep research expertise and hands-on system prototyping experience
- Exposure to topics such as Agentic AI, Knowledge Graphs, and LLMs
- Ability to publish research in top-tier conferences and journals
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with mentoring junior researchers and research engineers
- Familiarity with filing patents and technical disclosures
- Proven ability to balance exploratory research with product-oriented innovation
- Experience in designing experiments and benchmarks on real-world datasets
- Strong skills in mapping technical requirements to design solutions
