What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct research to identify and qualify new partnership opportunities aligned with the employer’s strategies
- Draft and refine outreach materials, proposals, and presentations to support fundraising efforts
- Serve as the first point of contact for inbound partnership leads, assessing fit and identifying pathways
- Support ongoing partner and donor stewardship, including communications and funding logistics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of partnerships and maintain data accuracy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, fundraising, sales, or client services
- Proven experience supporting a business development or fundraising cycle, including prospect research and outreach
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality in data and communications
- Ability to synthesize information into clear, well-written materials for partner engagement
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn and other platforms for prospect research
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects with multiple stakeholders and timelines
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a growth mindset
