- Database and information management, ensuring tracking systems and client information remains current, including updating guides and decks, tracking platforms, managing bookings and revenue, etc.
- Create and maintain external resources to educate clients and partners on the digital space, including writing newsletters, activating on Slack, and more.
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with major social media platforms and act as the liaison for clients addressing any platform-related concerns or challenges.
- Elevate clients’ public profiles and expand their online audiences through research, ideation, and strategic implementation.
- Fuel negotiations, identify business opportunities, and secure deals by analyzing and packaging data surrounding clients’ online brands.
- Manage relationships between clients and outside vendors such as social media managers, fan club providers, video services, and other specialists.
- Provide assistance and support to the Talent Strategy team in their endeavors spanning the entire agency landscape, involving collaborating with team members on various projects and providing research support.
- 2+ years of experience in digital and social media, marketing, or entertainment
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint)
- Deep understanding of social media platforms required, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc.
- Experience extracting insights from basic social listening platforms such as Brandwatch, Demographics Pro, or others, and have the ability to process data and draw insightful conclusions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Project management skills, and the ability to prioritize and produce significant output with minimal wasted energy
- The ability to see and communicate the big picture in an innovative way and identify opportunities based on current and future trends

UTA seeks a Talent Strategy Associate to work across the intersection of social media, entertainment, and analytics. IQ is the client strategy, data, and research division of UTA and is focused on developing insights and analyzing cultural trends to help propel forward client careers. The individual in this role will work closely with talent across all verticals – Music, Television, Film, Digital, Publishing, etc. – to help build their cultural capital through data-informed strategies. They will collaborate across a multi-faceted group of researchers, analysts, and strategists and report to UTA IQ's Head of Strategy. The ideal candidate will have a passion and curiosity for all things related to social media, the creator economy and entertainment, and will be an energetic, hardworking, detail-oriented team player who is confident working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. The position can be based in New York or Los Angeles.
The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
