What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Apply community standards to ensure a safe and respectful environment for users
- Investigate complex user concerns, leveraging data and analytical skills for decision-making
- Identify trends and emerging threats, escalating insights to leadership
- Provide feedback to improve policies, processes, and tools related to user experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute on Trust & Safety initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in Trust & Safety, operations, or a service role with customer-facing responsibilities
- Strong written communication skills to articulate complex policies and decisions
- Analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills
- Excellent critical thinking abilities for making high-stakes decisions
- Empathy and resilience to navigate sensitive issues effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Trust & Safety operations or similar roles in a digital marketplace
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques
- Proven ability to manage high-volume communications effectively
- Understanding of user perspectives to enhance the user experience
- Commitment to operational excellence and proactive problem-solving
