Job Description

- Contribute to our global business development efforts
- Meet entrepreneurs, founders, and C-level executives as part of the team’s efforts to build relationships
- Analyze vertical industries and identify targets and white space for growth opportunities
- Outbound to companies globally to develop relationships and initiate curation calls
- Lead curation calls and executive briefing meetings with strategic partners
- Create briefing agendas and brief prep documents before key meetings
- Manage relationship management database to support the team
- Collaborate with teammates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with the GIC communications team on overall Bridge Forum brand initiatives, including panels, executive workshops, small meetings, and networking receptions
- Gain exposure to venture capital and technology growth investing
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a strong passion for accelerating the impact of new technologies in the global landscape
- 3+ years of experience, including experience in a partner or customer-facing role such as sales, business development, or strategic partnerships
- Excellent presence and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Team player, enjoys working in a collaborative environment
- Highly motivated self-starter and able to work independently
- Undergraduate degree in relevant areas and proven interest in technology

TIG invests across the lifecycle of technology companies, investing directly in private, and public companies. Also serving as a limited partner in top-tier tech funds.
GIC's Technology Investment Group (TIG) manages most of GIC’s early stage investments, through venture capital funds, co-investments, and direct investments. TIG is a global team with presence in Silicon Valley, China and India. It invests directly in private and public technology companies and also serves as an LP in top-tier technology funds.
TIG's mission is to forge long-term financial and strategic relationships with its global partners. It is focused on helping its portfolio companies, entrepreneurs, and fellow asset managers navigate opportunities associated with technological disruption.
Bridge ForumThe Bridge Forum is GIC's business development platform, convening GIC's large network of global business leaders and luminaries with start-up founders to curate connections, share exclusive insights, and drive impact. We seek to connect our most valued, global partners with compelling technology companies to drive innovation and new ways of thinking. The Bridge Forum Summit is our annual, invite-only conference that explores emerging technologies, tech-forward ways of thinking, and brings together participants from all over the world. All attendees and invitees are global, senior decision makers.

What impact can you make in this role?
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, self-starting Business Development hire to join our diverse, global team focused on venture and growth investing to elevate the Bridge Forum into the world’s leading platform for high-impact business connections.
The role involves building and cultivating strategic partnerships for GIC’s portfolio companies, which are high-growth technology businesses in pursuit of a variety of commercialization and expansion goals.
As a member of this team, you will (1) support our global business development efforts, especially in the US and Asia, (2) work with the GIC ecosystem of portfolio companies on domestic and international go-to-market initiatives, (3) expand our enterprise network of senior executives from the Global 2000 and other leading companies, and (4) generating market development opportunities for strategic GIC partners and portfolio companies.
You will have the opportunity to be immersed in a global technology investing team that has partnered with disruptive companies such as DoorDash, Affirm, Checkout.com, Alibaba.com, Databricks, Amplitude, ByteDance, Stripe, Brex, Coinbase, NuBank, Snowflake, Zoom, and many more.

Our compensation philosophy reflects several principles. We strive to provide a competitive compensation package to attract and retain talent globally. We pay for performance, and reward sustainable results. Total pay for this position comprises base pay and bonus. The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $112,000 and $216,000. Bonuses, which may form a meaningful proportion of the total pay package, are determined based on company and individual performance.
