      Job Summary:

      The primary role of the Athletic Trainer is to provide services including prevention, diagnosis, and management of injuries/illnesses within the AT scope of practice to area schools, colleges, professional organizations and/or other community partners. Responsibilities include development/implementation of Emergency Action Plans, coordination of event medical coverage, communication plans, documentation of care plans, and assists department leadership to ensure appropriate supplies and support are available.

      The Athletic Trainer may also function as a physician extender, supporting patient care in our sports medicine physician office settings. The Athletic Trainer may also assist with treatment of patients in the clinical outpatient settings.

      Will also assist with system initiatives such as marketing efforts, community benefits reporting, research projects, community education, and other strategic initiatives as appropriate.

      We are seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer to join our dedicated sports medicine team and provide top-tier injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation services for athletes of all levels. In this role, you will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, coordinate care and referrals, and oversee return-to-play protocols to ensure safe and effective recovery. You will work closely with athletes, parents, coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to promote athlete health and optimize performance.       Education, Credentials, Licenses:

      • Master’s degree in athletic training or related field (effective 2023 new graduate requirement)
      • Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or related field (grandfathered pre-2023)
      • National certification from Board of Certification (BOC) – National Athletic Trainers Association
      • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state where work is being performed. *
      • BLS/CPR certification

      *Must obtain Regular (Non- Temporary) Licensure in the state where work is being performed within 6 months of employment

      Specialized Knowledge:

      Expertise in prevention, diagnosis, and management of musculoskeletal injuries

      Broad range of injury management including both musculoskeletal, concussion, and emergency care

      Knowledge of Athletic Training regulatory requirements
