Advocate on behalf of clients, including employers, insurance carriers, and self-insured entities

Prepare correspondence, draft pleadings, and attend court appearances

Conduct depositions and cross-examinations of witnesses and medical professionals

Manage calendars, meet deadlines, and oversee case progress
-
Negotiate settlements and resolve lien claims or other matters
-
Review and work on case files, enter time in billing software, and maintain case documentation
-
Conduct client meetings, file reviews, and training seminars on legal updates
-
Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, and vendors
-
Perform other duties as assigned to support firm operations and client service

Associate Attorneys: Receive mentorship, work under supervision, attend client meetings and training sessions

Senior Attorneys: Manage cases with limited supervision, mentor associates, lead client matters, and participate in strategic initiatives

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Admission to the California bar

Employment Law Attorneys: Experience in employment law litigation, knowledge of employment statutes and case law

Workers’ Compensation Attorneys: Experience in workers’ compensation, handling filings, claims, and lien negotiations

Strong litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities efficiently

Proficiency with legal software, case management tools, and billing systems

Professional demeanor and commitment to client service

Experience mentoring or supervising legal support staff is a plus

$110,000 - $285,000 /year - depending on responsibilities & seniority

Compensation & Bonus Programs
Competitive base salaries with eligibility for quarterly bonus programs based on billable hours. Bonus structures vary by practice area and attorney level, with additional discretionary credits for approved PTO or exceptional performance.
