What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct internal and customer audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with the FBI’s CJIS Security Policy
- Develop project plans and manage audit and assessment requirements with minimal supervision
- Identify risks and facilitate their resolution while tracking follow-up and remediation activities
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party auditors to gather evidence and prepare documentation
- Represent CJIS requirements in product development and compliance assessments including PCI DSS, SOC 1, SOC 2, and NIST
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or Legal Studies
- IT or Security experience, such as development, QA, or system administration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- US Citizenship required and ability to travel 25%
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Progress towards CISA or CIPP certification
- Experience in conducting security audits and assessments
- Familiarity with criminal justice information systems and compliance requirements
