What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct internal and customer audit and security assessment requests to ensure compliance with the FBI’s CJIS Security Policy
- Develop project plans and work with agencies to determine audit and assessment requirements
- Identify risks and issues, facilitating their resolution and tracking follow-up activities
- Liaise with internal teams and third-party auditors to enhance understanding and ensure timely delivery of necessary documentation
- Lead and manage compliance assessments including PCI DSS, SOC 1, SOC 2, and NIST
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or Legal Studies
- IT or Security experience (such as development, QA, system administration) preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- US Citizenship required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Progress towards CISA or CIPP certification
- Ability to research technologies, system controls, and audit topics online
- Experience in compliance-related roles within government or law enforcement agencies
- Familiarity with the FBI's CJIS Security Policy
