What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct internal and customer audits and security assessments to document compliance with the FBI’s CJIS Security Policy
- Collaborate with agencies to develop project plans and ensure timely completion of audit requirements
- Identify risks and issues, facilitating their resolution and tracking follow-up activities
- Liaise with internal teams and third-party auditors to enhance understanding of compliance requirements
- Lead and manage compliance assessments, including PCI DSS, SOC 1, SOC 2, and NIST
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or Legal Studies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Progress towards CISA or CIPP certification
- US Citizenship required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- IT or Security experience (such as development, QA, or system administration)
- Ability to research technologies, system controls, and audit topics online
