What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct internal and customer audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with the FBI’s CJIS Security Policy
- Collaborate with agencies to define audit requirements and develop project plans, ensuring timely completion
- Identify and facilitate the resolution of risks and issues during assessments
- Liaise with internal teams and third-party auditors to gather evidence and prepare necessary documentation
- Recommend process improvements to enhance compliance and security measures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Legal Studies
- IT or Security experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Ability to travel up to 25%
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Progress towards CISA or CIPP certification
- Experience in conducting security audits or assessments in a compliance-focused environment
- Familiarity with federal and state security regulations and standards
