**What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):**
- Conduct internal and customer audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with the FBI’s CJIS Security Policy
- Collaborate with agencies to develop project plans and ensure timely completion of audit and assessment requirements
- Identify risks and facilitate their resolution, providing updates in project meetings
- Liaise with internal teams and third-party auditors to ensure accurate documentation and compliance
- Recommend process improvements by identifying control gaps and collaborating with data protection teams
**What is Required (Qualifications):**
- Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or Legal Studies
- IT or Security experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- US Citizenship required
**How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):**
- Progress towards CISA or CIPP certification
- Experience with security compliance assessments, such as PCI DSS, SOC 1, SOC 2, and NIST
