      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct audits of outpatient and specialty claims utilizing medical chart coding principles
      - Review and interpret medical records to identify potential billing/coding issues
      - Utilize advanced proficiency with audit tools and systems to ensure accurate claim entry
      - Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards set for auditing processes
      - Identify new claim types and recommend improvements to enhance audit efficiency and client satisfaction

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate or bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management (RHIA or RHIT) or equivalent work experience
      - Required coding certification (CPC, CIC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA, or RHIT)
      - 5 to 7 years of experience in clinical medical record coding or auditing
      - In-depth knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, CMS security requirements, and coding terminology
      - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with outpatient and specialty review types
      - Familiarity with medical claims billing/payment systems and payer reimbursement policies
      - Strong analytical skills to assess the accuracy and thoroughness of work
      - Ability to adapt to new concepts and processes for continuous improvement
      - Experience in a healthcare auditing role with a focus on coding accuracy and medical necessity
