What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Obtain and secure prior authorization for high-end procedures, hospital admissions, and specialty patients
- Verify and complete insurance verification to ensure patient coverage prior to appointment dates
- Act as a liaison for financial matters with insurance companies, departments, and patients
- Coordinate communication between Revenue Cycle teams, Utilization Management, Care Management, and providers
- Conduct follow-up activities on assigned accounts and assist with billing and coding changes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a regulatory financial environment
- Proficiency in mathematics and teamwork

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in healthcare billing or prior authorization processes
- Familiarity with insurance verification systems and procedures
- Knowledge of financial clearance and collection processes
