- Read and interpret customer architectural and mechanical plans.
- Use CAD software to create accurate drawings for customer and manufacturing processes.
- Create drawings based on designs and sketches provided by engineers or more experienced staff.
- Understand customer requirements from quotations and specifications.
- Apply drafting fundamentals, including orthographic views, standard dimensioning practices, scaling, and both English and metric units of measure.
- Check dimensions of parts, document materials to be used, and verify the form, fit, and function of parts in assemblies.
- Follow directions and learn company drafting standards.
- Develop a working knowledge of manufacturing processes, machines, and various building materials.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting techniques.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and mechanical plans.
- Experience with CAD software for creating technical drawings.
- Understanding of standard dimensioning practices and orthographic views.
- Knowledge of scaling and both English and metric units of measure.
- Attention to detail in checking dimensions and documenting materials.
- Ability to follow directions and learn company-specific drafting standards.
- Experience with Inventor is a plus.
- Familiarity with sheet metal, blueprint reading, and architectural design.
- Knowledge of 2D AutoCAD and 2D design.
- Mechanical design experience, particularly with dampers and louvers.

Pay and Benefits
