      Job Summary:

      This job is responsible for managing a portfolio of projects which enhance Finance systems and solutions across several lines of business (LOB) in compliance with applicable Enterprise and Chief Financial Officer Group policies. Key responsibilities include working directly with senior management of Finance and/or LOBs for strategic planning. Job expectations include overseeing the day-to-day project activities and having active involvement in the review and delivery execution of project deliverables.

      Line of Business Job Description:

      The CFO Automation Strategy and Execution (ASE) team is a center of excellence within the COO Change Management & Governance organization. ASE is a global team of 50+ highly skilled Automators that operates across the entire CFO Group to deliver automation, reporting, analytics, and controls that aid Senior Leaders, Process Owners, Report Owners, and local Automators address challenges and provide relevant solutions using emerging technologies. ASE conducts intake with business partners to assess problem statements, define requirements, and explore solutions with available tools like Alteryx, Power Query, SQL, Tableau, Workiva. Advanced technologies like UiPath for robotics and Data Robot for AI modeling are also considered.

      As an Automation Lead, the role operates as the face of ASE to one more internal client groups. Automation Leads are aligned to support the automation needs of one or more CFO SLT vertical organizations. You will partner closely with leadership to identify and execute on Op Ex opportunities that leverage automation. CFO has a strategic commitment to innovation as we move toward the Finance of the Future. Responsible use of the automation software involves the proper controls and partnership with Global Technology and Risk partners.

      Responsibilities:

      • Reviews and executes project deliverables while working closely with various partners and user community

      • Works with leadership and/or line of business to set strategic direction of the project

      • Assists leadership in the development of solution strategies

      • Demonstrates strong subject matter knowledge about existing financial solutions and processes within scope of responsibility

      • Adheres to Chief Financial Officer Group's Change Management Governance and Controls Requirements

      • Requires an understanding of Finance, Accounting, Technology, and Project Management

      • Apply critical thinking, analytical skills, and thoughtful, fact-based approach to solve complex problems

      • Develop end-to-end solutions including technical requirements, documentation, and testing

      • Effective communication skills, and able to distill complex ideas to a wide array of audiences

      • Ability to counsel partners to determine the right tool for the job, considering the unique variables

      • Collaborative partnership with stakeholders across the CFO Group, Global Technology, and Risk

      • Coach and counsel local Automators to ensure compliance with applicable policies and standards

      Required Qualifications:

      • 5+ years of relevant Finance or Accounting experience, preferably in a production environment

      • Advanced knowledge of 3+ tools including Alteryx, Power Query, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and Workiva

      • Hand-on experience building automation workflows, data processes, and visualization dashboards

      • Strong organization skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

      • Intellectual curiosity and demonstrated examples of Op Ex process improvement

      • Experience partnering with technology teams and other stakeholders on change management initiatives

      Desired Qualifications:

      • BS/BA degree, preferably Finance or Data Science related

      • Knowledge of the bank’s policies and standards for Critical Use Software, Models, etc

      • Demonstrated examples of technical requirements, documentation, test plans, and reporting

      • Experience working closely with teams across multiple geographies (e.g. India)
