Job Description
- Req#: REF58S
- Assisting customers with their auto parts questions and needs (either in-person or via telephone).
- Operating a cash register, computer and paper cataloging systems and processing daily paperwork and forms.
- Effectively communicating features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
- Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as presenting professional conduct and appearance at all times.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures.
- 2 years of automotive parts sales experience, preferably in the NAPA system.
- ASE (P2) Parts Certification is a definite plus.
- Exceptional customer service and communications skills (both written and verbal).
- A positive attitude and great personal drive.
- Availabilty to work on weekends is favored.
- Prior knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems are helpful.
- Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation is a MUST!
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

Today, there are more than 6,000 NAPA AUTO PARTS Stores. About 1,000 of them are corporate owned, and Genuine Parts Company is the employer for these locations. However, there are about 5,000 independently owned and operated NAPA AUTO PARTS Stores where individual store owners are the employer. This position is through an independently owned and operated store.
